Taunton Women in Business Launch

March 12

Informal, free, friendly networking and a chance to find out more about LinkedIn, PR, Marketing and using social media in general.

About this Event

To launch our first Taunton event we’ve decided to go for a relaxed panel format and the topic of choice will be getting ‘social on social media’. We ran this previously in Exeter to an audience of 90 business women and the feedback was incredible. So it’s tried and tested.

Sponsored By Barclays Thriving Local Economies, Taunton Deane.

Our fantastic panel spotlights several female business owners and is made up of Jennifer Corcoran, Maria Harding, Natalie Trice, and Rosie Parsons. Each of these ladies will be able to bring their own unique take on the topic.

We are delighted to have 2 Venus Awards Winners on the panel which will be hosted our very own Alexis Bowater.

Here are the panels bio‘s and more info will follow on social media in the lead up to the party.

Hi I’m Jennifer and I’m the CEO and Founder of My Super Connector, an award-winning LinkedIn consultancy. I hold regional, national and global titles as a result of my love of online connection, communication and collaboration. I’m super proud to have been named as one of the top 100 female entrepreneurs in the UK as part of the 2019 #ialso100 f:Entrepreneur campaign. With a career built and spent in the corporate world, I’m now committed to helping service based business owners to polish up their LinkedIn profiles and connect with finesse in order to achieve business success.

I’m really excited about joining a panel of such exceptional women in business to discuss being social on social media – it will be a great evening!

Winner – Social Media Influencer, Venus Awards London 2018.

Maria Harding – My business is Four31 Digital, an award-winning social media marketing consultancy and training provider, based in South Devon. In 2019, we won the Venus Awards Devon & Cornwall Marketing & PR Excellence category.

Winner – Marketing & PR Excellence, Venus Awards Devon & Cornwall 2019

Natalie Trice is a PR Director based in Devon and has worked in the industry for over two decades. From CEOs of international TV channels and Finance Directors of IT companies, to entrepreneurs at the forefront of their industry and ambitious start-ups, Natalie has worked with them all, and many more.

Today, as well as retained clients, Natalie mentors and teaches people the fundamentals of PR and she gives them the skills and confidence to go out and talk to the press. With her ideas, contacts and cheerleading approach, her clients secure the column inches and airwaves that help them to raise their profile, grow their business and stand out from the crowd.

Cast Life – A Parent’s Guide to DDH was Natalie’s first book and sits alongside her charity, DDH UK, which supports thousands of people around the world dealing with hip dysplasia, a condition one of her sons has been treated for over the past decade. Her second book, PR School, Your Time to Shine, is just out and is a masterclass in self promotion that is set to change lives.

Rosie Parsons is an award winning photographer who specialises in relaxed and creative portraiture for small independent businesses and sole traders. She has had her work featured on ITV, OK! Magazine, Hello Magazine and in The Guardian and she regularly freelances for Devon Life. She fell in love with photography after working in the music industry for Tom Jones and photographing his live shows. Rosie lives in Honiton with her 6 year old triplets and 4 year old son.
